Drag (ドラグ) is a player in NewWorld Online and a supporting character in the BOFURI series. He is a the member of the Congregation of the Holy Swords guild[1] and ranked fifth in the 1st event.[2]
He is a large and muscular adult male with short brown hair and eyes.[1] He is a gentleman with a rude attitude.[1]
His combat style is like a boar, rushing in with much power and laying waste to those around him. This style leads to even those close to him having a rough time supporting him.[1]
Plot[]
Guild Founding Arc[]
Shortly after the 4th event was announced, the Congregation of the Holy Swords held a meeting to discuss the upcoming event.[3]
Guild Competition Arc[]
Because of their lacking mobility, Drag and Frederica were left to defend their base. Between Drag's aggressive assault and Frederica's wide range of attacks, their orb was kept safe.[4][5]
Payne, Dred, Drag, Frederica, and 15 other members from the Congregation of the Holy Swords worked together to attack Maple Tree because they believed its members had exhausted all their powerful skills.[6][7]
Drag worked together to keep the members of Maple Tree from supporting Maple. Drag's [Berserk] was transferred to Payne for the encounter. Drag's heavy assault forced Chrome to keep a heavy guard up to protect Mai and Yui. After Maple unleashed [Atrocity], Drag was captured and defeated.[6]
During the chaotic battle at the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor, the Congregation of the Holy Swords planned to take advantage of Maple, who had gained the aggro of players assaulting the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor. Their ambush was thwarted as Maple swiftly used [Atrocity] and was multiplied to 7 with Kanade and Sally's [Phantom World!].[8]
Drag was friends listed by Maple after the guild competition event and attended the Maple Tree after-party.[9]
Eighth Event Arc[]
Drag and Dred met up during the 8th event's preliminary round and worked as a team to increase their points. They encountered Kanade shortly after and did their best to eliminate him from the competition.[10]
During the main event he was seperated and met up with Yui and Kanade. The trio did thier best until Frederica, Sally, Payne and Dred showed up. They joined the three guild alliance afterward. Drag went with Shin, Chrome and Kasumi to the desert where they found a dungeon. There they took down a Ruby Cobra and Crystal Scorpion. On the third day, the three guilds took down Cthulhu together.
Anime Exclusives[]
Before Maple and Sally moved to the 2nd layer, they bought sweets at a cafe. Drag joined their conversation with Dred. He mentioned Frederica was surprised by how far Maple got.[2]
