BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense. ~LINEWARS!~ (痛いのは嫌なので防御力に極振りしたいと思います。～らいんうぉーず！～) is a tower defense strategy game accessible on mobile devices.
The game is developed by D-techno and DLE. In terms of gameplay, it is similar to The Battle Cats with its stage layout. Currently, there are 16 collectable characters, all drawn in a chibi-esque art style.

Bofuri: ~LINEWARS!~ is a tower defense strategy game that is mostly similar to another tower defense game called The Battle Cats, in which the player summons cats in order to defend their base, which is located in the right side of the stage. Summoning cats has a set cost that is needed to be met in order to summon the unit, and has a specific cooldown. The game also revolves around the concept of gacha, which is present in other popular games such as Fate/Grand Order, Azur Lane, Honkai Impact 3rd, and additionally, Bofuri: ~LINEWARS!~.
All of these mechanics are seen although there are numerous differences to distinguish them from the game, such as the base being located on the left side of the screen. However, as there are no official translations, as there is no set global release, some videos below will demonstrate the in-game mechanics and gameplay.

The Rising of the Shield Hero × I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense[]
On March 17, 2020, it was announced that the two shield-wielding protagonists of The Rising of the Shield Hero and Bofuri will collaborate with each other in a team-up between the anime and the ~LINEWARS!~ game.[1] Unfortunately, the staff did not reveal any additional details for this mobile game collab, but they promised to give more information about the collaboration’s contents at a later date.[2]
The Rising of the Shield Hero is a multimedia series quite similar to Bofuri, other than the fact that both of the protagonists wield shields. Quite similar to how Yuumikan started the series as a Web Novel in the user-generated novel publishing site Shōsetsuka ni Narō, the series' author Aneko Yusagi started The Rising of Shield Hero as a Web Novel series in the same site.
